First Day of School? Ugh. (Lizzy, Carian, Open)

Chandler Blackwood sat under a tree, practicing with his powers. Half of his powers just involved knowing things. Retrocognition, precognition. Those were just knowing things about the past and the future. Maybe it would help Chandler get on the teachers' good sides. Surely his powers could help him some way in school. Then he still needed help with his chronokinesis, which was basically starting, stopping, slowing down or speeding up time. He was horrible at it, which was why he wasn't dead. Chandler had been born in 1902, but he'd frozen himself in time as a boy and had "woken up" only a few weeks before.

Chandler eyed a boy who was walking nearby, possibly a year or so younger tha himself. Okay, thought Chandler. Stop. Freeze. STOP! The boy kept walking. Chandler would have to practice if he wanted to take down the heroes. As of now, he was probably the only villain at school, but hoped that more would come along. It wan't like he could destroy all the do-gooders by himself. Chandler stood, with his eyes still on the ground, and began walking across the lawn. He wasn't paying attention, so he bumped right into someone. "Hey! Watch where you're going, will you?"

Carian was just walking around minding her own buisness when someone walked right into her and had the cheek to tell her to watch where she was going! She didn't like him. Already, she did not like him one bit. There was evil inside him, her animal instincts could sense it.
"Look what you've made me do! This is your fault!" she groaned as her body stretched and shortened. "Everyone here is in this school to help control their powers. Anything can...set....them...off..." she trailed off as she lost the power of speech, and white fur spread over her body, her jaw lengthened and she turned into a wolf. A menacing one at that.
Her teeth weren't bared, and her back wasn't up because she was trying to keep her cool, but if the boy said a single thing. Well, then he would feel her wrath.

((I was going to just change into a wolf straight away, but the post would have been even shorter then it is now so XD))

Chandler watched this girl with growing curiosity. He could tell that she didn't like him at all, and he didn't care one bit. He was a freak, more so than anybody at this school. Chandler was older than the headmaster himself, which was nothing to be proud of. What he was proud of, though, was that he still looked around 15 or 16, so nobody would know his true age unless he wished to share it.

Chandler eyed the girl with more wonder as she got shorter.......and longer. Chandler could only stare as the girl changed into a wolf. The wolf-shifter girl had white hair and dark eyes. Chandler wasn't stupid enough to take s tep closer and find out the exact color. "A wolf shifter? How very......interesting."

As Chandler said this, he could feel himself being pulled away from Cal High. Damn. At the worst possible moments, too. In body, he was still standing in front of the wolf. In his mind's eye, though, he was standing outside a shop. He saw the wolf-girl being teased by a gang or something and felt the urge to go and stop the gang. It wasn't Chandler's fault he was rude, but the first people he'd met when he'd woken up were just plain jerks. Some part of him wished to help this girl, but that part was silenced quickly. Though Chandler could control the passage time, he could not change it.

Chandler watched as one of the gang members shoved a green pill down the wofl-girl's throat. After a bit of struggle, the wolf-girl realized that she had no choice but to swallow. Idiot. Do something, Chandler chided the wolf-girl in the memory. But it was too late. Already, the girl was shrieking. Her blood curdling cries began to sound oddly like the howls of a wolf. The transformation was complete. The girl had shifted into a large white wolf. Before Chandler could react, the wolf charged away.

"Wait!" Chandler called, but he could feel himself being pulled back to the present. Soon, he was standing in front of the same snowy white wolf. "Whoa." He said, breathless. Chandler was dizzy, not used to his retrocognition, and toppled over onto the ground. He blushed deeply and quickly picked himself up. Forgetting that he'd felt any sympathy towards the wolf-girl, he sneered. "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Very menacing, you are."

Chloe was a new kid to school. She had only been to the orphanages school. She had recently been adopted and was sent to this school to help control her powers. She was shy and never really had any friends so she was really scared tight then. She saw a girl turn into a wolf and a boy standing next to her. She decided to go say hi.

She walked up to them and said shyly "Hello I'm Lizzy. Sorry if I'm intruding." she looked down at the wolf girl "That's really cool that you can turn into a wolf." she didn't tell them her power. They probably wouldn't believe her. A small,frail looking girl like her with super strength? It's really hard to believe.

Carian watched the newcomer with bored curiousity, she just rolled her wolf eyes and gave a wolfish grin when she said her powers were cool. I'm Car- Oh. she thought, forgetting she couldn't talk anymore. Instead she just nodded her head before turning her attention back on the evil boy who didn't sit right with her. He was staring into deep space, looking at her but not really seeing her or anything else for that matter. His stare made her uncomftarble. It seemed as though...as though he knew everything about her. She growled menacingly, annoyed that anyone would know so much as her name without her telling them. She couldn't be sure if he did know her past, but her wolf instincts were impulsive and impatient. Act first, think later type thing.
Then the boy fell over. She would have laughed but she couldn't instead she howled a sound that sounded like a laugh, and she couldn't stop. She was on the floor, rolling around, howling/laughing away. For the first time in ages. He made a snide remark then, and she stopped laughing. Carian stood up, and showed her teeth. But then she noticed his blush and realized he was only trying to pull attention off the fact he'd toppled over.
She started laughing/howling again.

Chandler scoffed as a girl walked up. Cool that some kid could turn into a wolf? Try lame and stupid beyond belief. This wolf-girl did not frighten him at all, despite her size. Chandler was still older than her and ultimately smarter. He looked to the wolf girl and glowered as she began laughing about his fall. Weren't animals supposed to have better reflexes than a human? It took this thing a while to find it funny that Chandler had fallen. At Chandler's remark, the wolf girl barred her teeth and Chandler couldn't help but smile. Was he supposed to fear this girl? If so, then wolfy was out of luck. Chandler Blackwood feared nothing. Not life, not death, not pain. He didn't fear the future nor the past. "I'm not afraid of you, alright? You can stop trying to act tough because it's not working."

Nadia had absolutely nothing to do. She had been in her room, reading on of her mom’s old Sherlock Holmes books, but after she had read the same page at least five times, she finally put the book down. Nadia decided to get some fresh air after being inside all day so she headed out towards the school grounds. When she got outside, Nadia chanced upon a sight that she had seen before; a white wolf with it’s teeth bared at the person standing in front of it. Then the wolf began to make a sort of howling sound that sounded a lot like laughing. Nadia smiled and walked over to the wolf, and the two people standing in front of her. “Hey Carian,” She said, smiling. She had met Carian after Arria had accidentally transported her, as a matter of fact, she and Arria had landed on Carian, who had turned into a wolf . She turned to the two people standing in front of Carian, one was a girl with blonde hair, the other was a guy with dark hair. “I’m Nadia, and y’all are…” She said, not knowing what else to say.

Carian had had enough. Plain and simple, she had had enough of the stupid boy trying to act all cool. What did he know about her? Nothing whatsoever.
So when he said that he wasn't scared and she should stop acting tough, she snapped. Literally actually, she briefly nodded at Nadia before pouncing on top of the annoying boy and trying to get a good nip at his hand. Not a bite that would scar him or need stitches, just one to tell him to leave her alone.

Lizzy stood by watching until the girl pounced on the boy. "Hey hey! Break it up!" she said as she pulled the wolf off of the boy with one hand and held her by the scruff of her neck. "It's the first day of school! I don't see any reason to fight!" she nodded at the girl who had walked up "Hi. I'm Lizzy." she said.

Carian growled and snapped at the tiny hand holding her up. It's none of your buisness! Leave out! she tried to say, but couldn't get a single word out. All that came out was a series of whines, growls and barks that sounded as if it came from a pup, not menacing at all. If she was human and was still on the ground, she'd probably have run away by now.
Great, aren't I going to make a fantastic hero... she thought but reminded herself yet again that she was in this school to develop and control her powers.
